Authenticity guarantee

We build and sell our own products through one channel. That makes this guarantee simple to state and simple to honour.

Serialised at the source

Every unit carries a serial recorded at the factory and again at our facility. The two records have to match before an item is allowed into stock.

Checked before dispatch

Each order is inspected by hand against the published specification. Weight, hardware, stitching and optics are confirmed before the box is taped.

One supply chain

Products are sold here and nowhere else. There is no distributor tier, no grey market channel and no third party seller using our name.

Written guarantee

If any item you buy from us is ever shown not to be genuine, you get the full purchase price back plus the cost of the appraisal that proved it.

What the guarantee covers

Every product sold on this site is manufactured to a specification written by Loftstead LLC and supplied directly to us. If an independent appraiser, a manufacturer, or a governing body determines that an item you bought here is counterfeit or misrepresented, we refund the full purchase price and reimburse the appraisal fee. There is no time limit on that commitment and it survives the 30 day return window.

How to verify what you received

  • The serial is printed inside the valuables pocket on the bag, on the underside of the rangefinder housing, on the putter hosel and on the internal label of the travel cover.
  • Email the serial and your order number to support@loftstead.com and we confirm the manufacturing batch, the inspection date and the order it shipped on.
  • Specifications on each product page are the specifications we build to. If a unit you received does not match one of them, that is a defect and we replace it.

Buying anywhere else

We do not supply marketplaces, auction sites or resellers. If you see our products offered somewhere other than this site, we cannot confirm what is in the box and this guarantee does not apply to it. Send us the listing at support@loftstead.com and we will pursue it.

Relationship to the warranty

Two year limited warranty against manufacturing defects covers manufacturing faults for 2 years from delivery. Authenticity is a separate promise about what the item is, and it has no expiry. A claim under one does not affect the other.
